Throughout his career, he has honed his expertise in equities trading, Fixed Income investment and trading, and market analysis. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, he is a Certified Trustee and is an ICIFA member.

Chris Opar

Chris Opar has over 40 years of senior leadership experience across the public sector, private sector, and international development institutions in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. He has held senior finance and advisory roles at Kenya National Examinations Council, Kenya Re-Insurance Corporation, DANIDA–Kenya, Ernst & Young (South Africa), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), where he served in multiple countries including South Africa, Ghana, Sudan, Jordan, and Germany. He has extensive experience in donor fund management and public sector financial governance. He holds degrees in finance and accounting, an MBA in Corporate Finance, an MSc in Finance and Accounting, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Nancy Njai

Independent Director

Nancy Njai has over 23 years’ experience in banking, treasury operations, financial markets, and commodities trading. Her background includes senior roles at KCB Group and CFC Bank, where she worked across treasury front office, back office, and asset–liability management functions. She has also served in executive leadership roles within the commodities sector, providing oversight on operations, risk management, compliance, and business growth. Ms. Njai holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, a Higher Diploma in Marketing, and has undertaken extensive professional training in treasury operations, derivatives, and risk management.

Richard Mundia Kariuki

Richard Mundia Kariuki is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 35 years’ experience in legal practice, corporate governance, and public sector advisory. He is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Nairobi and Managing Partner at Harit Sheth Advocates. He has previously served as a Presidential appointee to the State Corporations Advisory Committee, contributing to reforms in governance, public–private partnerships, and regulatory frameworks. He holds an LLB from the University of Nairobi, an LLM from Columbia University, and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.

Anthony M. Munyiri

Anthony Munyiri has over 32 years’ experience in the securities and investment industry. He has served as Chairman of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS). His executive experience includes serving as Chief Executive Officer of Globetec Asset Managers Limited and Securities Africa Kenya Limited, and Associate Director at Standard Investment Bank. He currently serves as Managing Director of Javans Coffee Limited.
